What is Religion

Everyone has a right to have a set of their own believes about the reason for nature, the cause of existence of the whole universe. It in most cases involves a belief that there exists a supernatural power if not powers which has a right and is the reason why nature exists. Many people pose the question What Is Religion since anyone is entitled to their own opinion which most people say should be respected.
There are many religions in the world entire including: Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam and Judaism. In other regions it may mean atheism, Godliness, faith, creed or cult. It makes people hold onto hope unseen and is a great source of comfort to many. They are intended to give life a meaning and explain the origin of life and the universe surrounding nature.
Someone once wrote that in the olden days, the days of our forefathers, they worshipped under trees and held a lot of respect and honor to some animals like the cows and pigs. It was further explained that since there is a Supreme God, merciful and omnipresent, He could see them and bless them for their efforts of pursuit for the supernatural power and intervention. They turned to religion in times of trouble and crisis as is still the case today. There are universal holy books that are used in this case including the Bible and the Quran just to mention a few.
They provide a guideline of how to live in the spirit and are used universally. Some give examples of how ancient people responded to different types of problems and how they coped with them. Essays on religion are accessed via Orderessay.net.
