Jesus’ Kingdom Activity
In this assignment I pass on be using several different emblems from the Galilean ministry of Jesus Christ. I will be explaining their importance to the dry land of God. I will also explain what these illustrations brought to the Jewish sight in Jesus’ time and also how we can relate them in our life today.
The first story that will be exposit in this assignment is the story of the sinful but contrite woman. This is one of my favorite stories as it sends out a kernel of the gift of God’s alter. That was a message that the Jews unavoidable to know, that regardless of how messed up their situation was that God’s grace was sufficient enough to deliver them. This woman wasn’t thus far an invited guest to the house where Jesus was, but she knew that she was tired of her situation. This story also compares this sinful woman’s carry out to the action of Simon. In the end the sinful woman was the one that was forgiven for altogether her wrong doings. This shows the Jews and others that it is not about your title but it is every about the humbleness a person has.
The next parable is the story of the net. This parable Jesus begins by comparing the kingdom of heaven to that of a fisherman’s net. This net caught whole kinds of fish. According to Jeremy Lindley this parable shares the same theme as the weeds in the wheat. He also explains that it would have been very greenness in Capernaum to see fishermen on the beach fishing. It is easy to protrude them keeping the good fish and throwing away the bad fish. accordingly he was explaining that there would be all kind of people trying to enter into the kingdom of God but in the end the good will be separated from the bad.
