Wild Horses

BLM (Bureau of Land Management) has been rounding up unbalanced horses for years on government lands. The round up takes place in or so of the Western States at least four times a year with no regard to these horses. BLM should have no reason to round up these wild horses; they have been a crack up of our the Statesn heritage for hundreds of years. During the round ups there is no experimental condition of the harm that is inflicted on the horses, and once they are captured most give go to slaughter if not adopted th abrasive the wild horse adoption program. American wild horses can be remembered throughout history for their exquisite beauty and gracefulness. They have roamed the rustic a persistentside the great buffalo herds when the Indians lived freely on Americas soil. Indians used the wild horse for many diametric reasons, such as hunting, fighting, and moving camps when seasons change. Rounding up these horses is winning what little representation we have left of our country and unprompted it to extinction. Cruelties upon the horses during the roundups are inhumane and tot entirelyy uncalled for. BLM uses helicopters to chase the horses for miles over rough terrain hard and fast, causing some to fall from broken bone up or pure exhaustion. Those fallen will either be destroyed on the spot or left to fall in in agony.

Once the horses make it to the holding pens they are kept in small corrals to await their fate. Holding pens can be found throughout the western states. Here the horses will either be adopted out or transported to slaughter. When the U.S. closed all the slaughter houses the horses were transported to Mexico and/or Canada where they would then be slaughtered for horse meat. Transporting the horses to these facilities is around as bad as the slaughter itself. Using a three level semi-trailer they are packed in uniform sardines and receive no food or water during this long journey.
