Course Objective:
The hold of the course is to provide an overview of the basic principles and applications of learning theories including conditioning, reinforcement, punishment, extinction, and memory mechanisms. The associative structures underlying conditioning effects and the principles that manage the association administration will be emphasized. The procedures of more complex learning phenomena (e.g., dissimilitude learning, stimulus control of behavior) will also be discussed throughout the course. The course is essential to see how various theories try to rationalise brute & human learning and understand how animal studies help us to explain the basic components of human learning.
