I, personally felt like my experience in this social Communication course over the past week was pointless. It was to a fault a waste of my meter and money. The text book title ?Interpersonal Communication Relating to Others by Steven A. Beebe, Susan J. Beebe, and Mark V. Redmond states on paginate nine that being skilled in interpersonal talk can improve relationships with family, friends, lovers, colleagues and along with physical and emotional health. I have been communicating just fine for the past cardinal three years, so in my opinion I wear upont understand how this course and or book is going to ease me communicate any better. The majority of the material that was gone over this past week had no effect on me, however, on pages twenty-two through twenty-four it states four interpersonal conversation myths in which I agree with one of them. The myth states and I quote More words pass on make the kernel cle arer.
Adding more than words to an already unclear conversation is not going to clear things up. In fact adding those words will more than likely make the conversation harder to understand because, you are just piling more unclear information on top of previously stated unclear information. Just as I wrote adding more words made my sentence more complicated and harder to comprehend. In conclusion I once once again feel like I have wasted my time. The time that it took me to write this reflection paper I could have been analyse for my Veterinary Technology course, which in my opinion is not a waste of my time.
