This case study will look at the walk of life for wellness Initiative (WfH) (WfH, 2011) and its implementation in Torbay where it is known as Bay Walks (Bay Walks, 2011). This initiative will be used as the basis for discussing approaches to domain health practice, the socio-economic factors which led to the initiative organism developed and the government policy which added further credence to warrant its conception. This Initiative will also act as a tool to demonstrate how important multi-agency and partnership working is to public health and critical in the provision of both ball and lay systems of care.

Bay Walks encourages more people to become physically active in Torbay finished regular led walks ranging in length (Bay Walks, 2011). I selected this initiative because I enjoy enjoyment and believe that encouraging the population to become healthier through sport and enjoying the outdoors whilst forging friendships is a simple thinker that works. The concept of locally-run walking groups which are accessible to all, free and comprehensive across cultural and ethical divides suffer achieve hearty health improvements and ultimately fewer visits to the doctor or infirmary (DH, 2010a).
